"At Dudley Public School, every child is known and valued for who they are, within a school environment that fosters inclusivity and connection. That sense of belonging is deeply felt at Dudley PS, and extends out into the broader community.
My children are nurtured and thriving here. They are offered many and varied opportunities in their learning, thanks to the professionalism and dedication of the staff. "

Garbage Guardians – Award Winning Environmental Sustainability Program
Our school acts respectfully to reflect the community's value of environmental sustainability through a wide range of initiatives and projects that build education and awareness in recycling, gardening, and waste management. Our Garbage Guardian Program recently won the Lake Macquarie Schools Environmental Award, recognising the students' dedication and commitment to acting locally to think globally in waste management and in looking after our local bushlands.
Grandparents Day
Grandparents Day is a big deal for the whole community at Dudley Public School. Held in Term 4 each year, grandparents and family members are invited to visit classrooms for fun activities with their grandchildren, facilitated by our teachers.
Following the classroom visits, we invite families to stay and have a picnic with the students in our school playground. It is an event not to be missed.
School Concert Band
Formed in 2023, this group of students demonstrates dedication to weekly practices and tuition sessions with our trained band coordinator to prepare wonderful ensemble pieces for public performances. They have won awards at Bandfest and regularly perform at formal school events, including assemblies and Presentation Day.

"DPS offers wonderful opportunities to help kids learn, play, make friends, develop enquiry skills, problem solving, critical thinking, cultural knowledge, physical activity and creative pursuits. There is a strong connection to the local community.
The calendar is full and families are lucky to have such engaged and committed teachers to facilitate all that is on offer, from excursions, incursions and camps, to whole school productions, creative arts days, public speaking, STEM challenges, sports carnivals, inter-school gala days, school band, Starstruck, and other dance events, debating groups, mothers, fathers and grandparents days, book week celebrations, and end of year events.
All this in a small school located next to the bush."
